AgentX or Afina Which Antidetect Browser to Pick in 2026

Afina is the stronger pick for team and programmatic work, while AgentX makes more sense for a solo start with ready-made Twitter and Discord bots. Both browsers isolate accounts into separate profiles with their own fingerprint, proxy, and isolated cookies. The difference shows up once the work stops being manual profile launches.

AgentX packs an antidetect module, a wallet catalog, an email client, and automation for two social platforms into one window. Afina works more like an operating system for multi-accounting: fingerprint management, a local API, visual RPA, scheduled tasks, team spaces, and encrypted data. So instead of counting toggles on a profile form, we looked at environment stability, how well each product scales, and how tightly access is controlled.

AgentX has real advantages, and it's only fair to name them up front: a built-in proxy store, five free profiles, and bulk auto-login into MetaMask, Rabby, Backpack, and Phantom. Afina covers different ground: things AgentX doesn't publicly offer at all, including a universal API, team roles, and Zero-Knowledge protection.

There's also product age to consider. AgentX launched in early 2026 and is still in beta: releases ship every two to three weeks, from v0.3.12 in February to v0.7.8 on August 12, and the developers openly admit login issues in certain regions. For a quick test, that's a footnote. For a farm running a thousand profiles, it's a risk you have to plan around.

AgentX vs Afina at a Glance

The table makes the core point: these products aren't competing for the same budget, they're built for different kinds of work. AgentX sells a fast entry point and crypto tooling. Afina sells managed infrastructure, where a profile is just one entity alongside scripts, tasks, databases, and permissions.

How Fingerprint Spoofing Quality Differs

Spoofing quality isn't about how long the settings list is, it's about how consistent the parameters are with each other and with the IP address. Both browsers control the main signals, but under identical conditions the checkers react to them very differently, and the gap turned out bigger than expected.

An AgentX profile lets you pick a Windows, macOS, or Linux fingerprint, one or several User-Agent strings, Real or Noise modes for Canvas and WebGL, and WebGPU Auto or Disable. Recent versions added GPU generation and architecture spoofing through GPU Gen, full Widevine support, and a reworked Canvas noise engine for X.

There's a lot less manual control here than the settings list suggests. You can set geolocation coordinates, screen resolution, color scheme, and language by hand. But the key signals, Canvas, WebGL, and Audio, arrive as a pre-generated bundle: if the result doesn't work, the profile gets a whole new fingerprint, not a fix to one parameter. That's a problem for a long-lived account, because a full regeneration changes every signal at once, and the site sees a sudden configuration jump instead of a gradual device history.

The engine version is its own issue, and here we could document the discrepancy directly. AgentX presents itself to checkers as Chrome 142, but its own version page tells a different story.

The chrome://version command, which AgentX renamed to agentx://version, shows the real build as 141.0.7374.0, while externally the browser presents itself as Chrome 142. The JavaScript engine confirms it too: V8 reports version 14.1.110, and branch 14.1 belongs to Chromium 141, not 142. So the declared version doesn't match the actual one, and antifraud systems score exactly this kind of internal contradiction: the site compares what the browser claims about itself against how it actually behaves. The overall lag makes things worse. Afina, on the same test, runs on build 150, nine major versions ahead.

There's another risk baked into how User-Agent works. It's the string the browser uses to tell a site its version and operating system, and for the site it functions as part of the device's ID. AgentX lets you attach several such strings to one profile, so the profile can launch with a different one each session. That's convenient for mass account registration. For an account meant to live for months, it's a direct threat: the site sees the same user showing up with a different browser version tomorrow, without having updated anything. That kind of jump looks more suspicious than any static fingerprint, so on long-lived profiles the string needs to be locked in once and left alone.

Afina creates Windows or macOS profiles and ties the User-Agent to the engine version and operating system. Canvas is recommended to stay on Real. If you need noise, the product team advises changing just one of the four signals, Canvas, WebGL, Audio, or Client Rects, and leaving the rest genuine. That approach cuts down the artificial contradictions that antifraud systems use to build clusters.

Each signal is edited individually at the specific profile level, so you can fine-tune the configuration without regenerating the whole fingerprint. WebRTC is modified at the Chromium level: with a SOCKS5 proxy that supports UDP ASSOCIATE under RFC 1928, Afina routes WebRTC, QUIC, and WebTransport through the proxy, hands the site the proxy's public address, and masks local addresses through mDNS. A built-in check monitors IP, country, and region during the session and stops the profile after a risky change.

Language and time zone are detected by IP or set manually, and IP detection stays the recommended option so localization doesn't contradict the proxy's geolocation. Screen size uses fixed presets like 1024×1024 or 1792×1024, and locking the size protects against detection that tracks manual window resizing. Core count only accepts even values up to 64, and memory is picked from 8, 16, or 32 GB, so it's not possible to set a physically impossible configuration. There's no font list in the profile settings: that signal gets generated at launch time along with the rest of the fingerprint. What the Checkers Found on the Same Proxy

We ran both browsers through the same SOCKS5 proxy with IP 151.242.6.166 in New York and ran four checks: Pixelscan, Fingerprint.com Playground, CreepJS, and BrowserLeaks WebRTC. Conditions were identical, so any difference in the reports comes from the browsers themselves.

We'll go through each check individually and put a summary table at the end of the section.

Let's start with Pixelscan, the most common test among traffic arbitrageurs and account farmers. Both browsers landed an overall "inconsistent" verdict, but for different reasons.

The useful information isn't in the verdict headline, it's in the row of five checks below it. Four of five come back green for Afina: browser reported as Chrome 150, geolocation matching New York, a fingerprint flagged No masking detected, and the bot check. The fingerprint check is the one that matters most here: Pixelscan found no trace of spoofing, meaning the profile reads as an ordinary Chrome on ordinary Windows.

Exactly one check comes back red, Proxy detected, and it's not worth reading too much into. It just flags that the IP belongs to a data center rather than a home provider, because we deliberately picked a data-center address to keep the test clean. That's a property of the purchased proxy, not the browser: the same Afina profile on a residential or mobile IP would get a green status here. What actually matters is the checks the browser controls on its own, fingerprint, time zone, and behavior, and those are the ones worth comparing in the next screenshot.

AgentX: Pixelscan

Four of five checks came back red for AgentX: browser, time zone flagged Timezone spoofed, proxy, and a fingerprint flagged Masking detected. The proxy is the same data-center one used for Afina, so we set that item aside. The other three red flags are the browser's own doing.

It's worth explaining where these come from. Masking detected shows up when a script calls the same Canvas, WebGL, or Audio methods several times and gets results that don't match each other or don't match the reference for the declared hardware: a real device always computes the same result, while applied noise gives a different number every time. Timezone spoofed appears when there's a mismatch between the time zone JavaScript reports and the zone that matches the IP's geolocation: the browser says one thing, the network shows another. The red browser check ties back to the same engine version mismatch covered earlier. Put together, this means Pixelscan didn't just get suspicious about the network, it directly identified AgentX as an antidetect browser.

Fingerprint.com Playground works on different logic. It's a commercial antifraud tool used by marketplaces, fintech, and payment systems, and it scores risk in points.

It doesn't check individual signals, it checks the whole set together. The service collects over a hundred device parameters, including Canvas, WebGL, the audio stack, fonts, resolution, time zone, languages, and JavaScript engine behavior, folds them into a stable Visitor ID, and tries to recognize the visitor on repeat visits. A separate Smart Signals block looks for signs of browser interference through Browser Tampering, geolocation spoofing, running inside an emulator or virtual machine, automation, and links between different sessions through Velocity Signals. The result is a Suspect Score, an overall suspicion rating that a store or bank uses to decide whether to let the user through.

The whole story sits in the middle Smart Signals column, specifically three rows: Browser Tampering, Velocity Signals, and Suspect Score. For Afina, the column is entirely green, and in the left identification block, the Last Seen field reads Unknown, meaning the service sees the visitor for the first time. On the AgentX report, some of those rows are highlighted pink, and Last Seen is already populated.

This is where the gap is widest. Afina got Browser Tampering: Not detected and a Suspect Score of zero, meaning the service found no signs of browser interference. AgentX got Browser Tampering: Yes and a Suspect Score of eight. In plain terms, the antifraud tool saw the browser was modified and immediately raised the risk score. AgentX also showed Velocity Signals with two linked identifiers within 24 hours against one for Afina, meaning the service tied separate sessions together. That kind of link is exactly what triggers mass bans, when a platform exposes a whole group of accounts at once.

CreepJS is useful because it doesn't hand you a verdict, it shows raw numbers and the calculation time for each signal. This is where you see what masking actually costs.

CreepJS labels calculation time in gray in the top-right corner of each block, and those numbers are what matter here. For Afina, the Canvas 2d block finished in 59.10 ms, Fonts in 75.10 ms, and the total time at the top of the page comes to 257.20 ms.

The main thing this report shows: Afina has no Canvas problems. The calculation stays within the time typical for a plain Chrome with no add-ons, and values come back stable from call to call. Canvas is the most common reason antidetect browsers fail, because nearly every major platform checks it, and a clean result here matters more than a long list of toggles in the profile. Keep these three numbers in mind for the next screenshot, and also look at the DOMRect and Speech blocks.

AgentX: CreepJS

AgentX's Canvas problems are visible to the naked eye, and antifraud systems catch them immediately. The Canvas 2d block took 463 ms against 59 ms for Afina, eight times longer, and the full pass took 1041 ms against 257 ms. The cause is aggressive per-pixel noise: to alter the image, the browser has to process every pixel, and that costs time. The problem is that call duration is measured with plain JavaScript, so a script only needs to clock it and compare it against the norm for the declared hardware. That's exactly what produces the Pixelscan result shown earlier.

We won't go line by line through the whole report, just the spots that actually break the fingerprint.

The second finding is subtler and more important. In the DOMRect block, Afina returned four identical values for elems A, elems B, range A, and range B, while AgentX showed a mismatch between elems A and elems B at the eighth decimal digit. The geometry of the same elements should always match. A mismatch means the noise is applied to each call separately rather than deterministically per profile, so a repeat measurement gives a different number. An antifraud script only needs to call the method twice and compare the result.

The third finding is about the Speech API. Afina returned a set normal for Windows 11: one local voice, 24 remote voices, 18 languages, and the standard Microsoft David English (United States). AgentX returned zeros with a blocked status across all three parameters. Real browsers don't behave that way, so a fully blocked API becomes an anomaly in itself. The audio signal diverged too: AgentX's audio trap value came in an order of magnitude higher, again pointing to more aggressive noise.

One point in CreepJS goes to AgentX. The font classifier tagged its set as Like Windows 11, fully consistent with the declared OS, while the same block for Afina came back Like undefined, matching no known template. Both browsers report the same set of 15 fonts, the difference is purely in how CreepJS labels it, but formally that's a point in AgentX's column.

The last check ended in a tie, and it's worth saying so plainly. BrowserLeaks found no WebRTC leak in either browser.

Three rows matter in this table: WebRTC Leak Test, Local IP Address, and Public IP Address. For Afina, the first shows No Leak, the second is empty, and the third matches the proxy address, 151.242.6.166. The next screenshot shows the same table for AgentX, and this is the one check out of four where you won't find a difference to look for.

Both came back No Leak, an empty Local IP Address field, and a public address matching the proxy. Both correctly reported RTCPeerConnection and RTCDataChannel as True, meaning neither broke WebRTC to hide it, they routed it through the proxy instead. AgentX's claim about native WebRTC over UDP holds up fully here, and on this point the two products are equal.

The overall takeaway from the four tests: AgentX's network layer is well built, but its fingerprint-spoofing layer gets flagged by two independent commercial services. This reflects the result of one specific run on one specific build, and the numbers could look different on another version.

How Convenient Are Profiles, Proxies, and Day-to-Day Operations

AgentX is simpler at the start, especially when your working unit is a profile plus a wallet, an email, and a Twitter or Discord account. Afina takes more time to learn, but it rarely forces you to keep data in separate spreadsheets and third-party tools.

Both products can pull profiles in from competitors. AgentX documents a basic and a full transfer from AdsPower and Dolphin{anty} in roughly two minutes, though the basic mode doesn't carry over active sessions. Afina imports from AdsPower, Dolphin, and Vision, and can additionally grab cookies through CDP from a running browser.

How the Main Screens Differ

The interface difference is visible from the first screen, and it isn't cosmetic. Each app's sidebar shows exactly what the product is made of.

Look at the left column, not the account table. Afina's menu opens into Accounts, Trash, Teams, Groups, Extensions, Proxies, Synchronizer, an expanded Automation block with nested Scripts, Module, Triggers, and Active Task, then Email, Automation Hub, Database, and Import cookies, with a Google Drive toggle and a Personal workspace selector at the bottom. Pay attention to three items the competitor won't have at all: Teams, Synchronizer, and Automation. The account table itself is configurable with filters, conditions, and a choice of ten columns, there's a bulk-actions panel at the bottom, and proxies show country, IP, and a rotation counter. Compare that left column against the next screenshot, and take a look at the top of the screen too.

AgentX's sidebar consists of exactly three blocks: Profile manager with four items, and Twitter Bot and Discord Bot, each with the same set: Accounts, Settings, Process, Logs. That's the complete feature list of the app. There's no menu item for scripts, sync, databases, or teams, because those entities don't exist in the product. The top of the screen is taken up by two banners about demo mode and free proxies, and a Subscribe block sits pinned at the bottom of the menu.

One more small daily thing that adds up over an eight-hour shift: Afina has light and dark themes, AgentX only runs in a standard dark one. That's fine for a night shift, but working during the day near a window, you feel the difference.

What AgentX Offers Out of the Box for Proxies

This is a real AgentX advantage, and there's no need to spin it. The Proxywing store is built into the app, so you buy proxies without opening a separate account with a third-party service.

The store's terms look like this:

  • DC proxies cost $1 per address per month, dropping to $0.9 from 100 addresses, with a daily option at $0.25;
  • ISP proxies run $2 per address per month, but currently only in the Netherlands geo;
  • residential proxies sell for $2 per GB, and traffic doesn't expire, it stays on the balance until used;
  • discounts run 5% for 3-5 months, 7% for 6-11 months, and 10% for a year

The app separately offers five free DC proxies, and the banner for this deal shows up even in demo mode. The wording there is careful, mentioning limited quantity, so don't count on it as a guaranteed part of the free tier: the offer runs while addresses last.

For a solo user who doesn't want to piece together a stack of three services, the built-in store saves time. Afina has no proxy store of its own: addresses come from outside, but through bulk XLSX import, with rotation, auto-checking, and account linking filtered by "unused only." At volumes above a hundred profiles, teams end up buying proxies separately from a provider at their own rate anyway, so the built-in store stops being an argument and stays a convenience for getting started.

The gap becomes clear in backups and sync. AgentX creates a password-encrypted archive with profiles, cookies, extensions, and settings, and starting with v0.7.6 it checks the archive's integrity. But the product has no cloud storage and no two-device sync, and the archive itself only transfers between matching systems: Windows to Windows or macOS to macOS. Restoring on a new device fully overwrites the app's existing data. Afina keeps three backup channels running at once, local, Google Drive, and Afina Cloud, has a separate Synchronizer for reconciling data across devices and team members, keeps an operations log, and moves a deleted profile to trash first.

Automation and API in the Afina Antidetect Browser

AgentX automates specific actions in Twitter and Discord without any coding. Afina offers four layers of automation: visual scripts, a local REST API, a task scheduler, and control through an AI agent over MCP.

The main limit on AgentX's bots isn't the list of actions, it's that those actions barely allow any tuning. The bot can like, repost, and comment, but the user can't control delays between actions, daily per-account limits, or how much behavior varies between profiles. For a social platform's antifraud, identical intervals across hundreds of accounts is the easiest pattern to catch, so ban risk grows exactly where automation was supposed to save time. In an Afina script, the same actions get built manually with pauses, conditions, and randomized values, so each profile behaves differently.
