2. Select the proxy location: one or more countries or regions, after which the 'City/State' field updates with the available options. Use 'IP Skipping' when you want to exclude specific IPs from the rotation
3. Choose the rotation type: 'Randomize IP' gives you a new IP with each request, 'Sticky IP' keeps the same IP for a set period
4. Set the session TTL if you picked 'Sticky IP': choose how long the session should last in your Afina profile, from one second to seven days

Once these settings are in place, your proxy credentials and port numbers appear in the 'Connection' section. You can change the username and password there and pick a different port number.

How Do You Add an IPRoyal Proxy to an Afina Profile?

You create a profile in Afina, paste the IPRoyal credentials into its 'Proxy' tab, run 'Check proxy' and save. The full sequence looks like this.

1. In a different browser tab, go to afina.io and create an account

2. Download the Windows or macOS version for your device and follow the prompts to install it. New accounts get a four-day testing window

3. Open the app and log in after the installation is complete

4. In the Afina dashboard, select 'Accounts' (1) from the left sidebar, then click 'Add Account' (2) in the panel above the accounts table

5. Afina opens the 'New account' window, where you configure the profile

6. In the 'General' tab, enter the account name in the 'Name' field (3). Then configure the fingerprint settings (4) you need, including the operating system under 'OS', the graphics card under 'Video Card', Canvas and screen size

7. In the 'Timezone' tab, leave 'Timezone from IP' (5) enabled

8. In the 'Language' tab, leave 'Languages from IP' (6) enabled. This way Afina matches both settings to your proxy

These two defaults do more work than they seem to. A browser clock or language that disagrees with the IP location is one of the checks sites run against timezone spoofing, so letting Afina read both from the IPRoyal exit IP keeps the profile consistent even when you change the proxy location later.

9. Open the 'Proxy' tab (7) and select 'Set proxy' (8)

10. Go to your IPRoyal dashboard and configure the proxy's location and rotation (9). Once you're done, copy your proxy credentials from the 'Connection' section (10)

11. Paste them into the corresponding fields (11) in Afina and click the 'Check proxy' button (12)

12. If the proxy check is successful, click 'Save' (13)

13. Your new profile appears in the Afina accounts table and is ready to use

Depending on your Afina plan, you can create more profiles with different proxy and network settings. The 'Proxies' section in the left sidebar lets you add and check proxies before assigning them to the profiles that need them.
