Proxies: Table#
“Proxies” Table displays a list of proxy records, their technical parameters, verification status, account bindings, and service data. In the table, you can select one or multiple records, sort columns, copy proxy data, open contextual actions, edit proxy parameters, delete records, and manage account bindings.
Location: the “Proxies” section is available in the left navigation panel.
Available Actions:
- select one or multiple proxies using checkboxes
- view the address, status, type, country, outgoing IP address, and number of linked profiles
- copy proxy information
- open the contextual menu for a specific row
- edit or delete proxies
- assign accounts to proxies
- sort the table by available columns
- refresh and check proxy data
Selection Checkboxes#
Selection Checkboxes are located on the left side of the table and are used to mark proxies for actions. The checkbox in the table header allows selecting all visible rows.
After selecting one or multiple proxies, you can use group actions in the top panel. To clear the selection, uncheck individual rows or use selection management if it is available in the current table state.
Column “ID”#
Column “ID” displays the internal identifier of the proxy record. This is a service number that helps distinguish records in the table and use them as reference points during search or sorting.
The column supports sorting. Clicking the “ID” header changes the display order of records by identifier.
Column “Proxy information”#
Column “Proxy information” shows the main proxy address in a shortened form. Next to the address, service elements may be displayed: a copy icon and a network mode label “TCP” or “UDP”.
The copy icon is used to copy proxy data to the clipboard. If the address does not fit within the column width, the table truncates its visual display, but the record remains available for copying or editing.
The “UDP” label means that the proxy supports UDP connections. To work in “UDP” mode, the proxy must have the “socks5” type in the “Type” column. Proxies of the “http” and “https” types work over TCP.
Row Context Menu#
Row Context Menu opens through the “Three Dots” icon next to a specific proxy. The menu provides the actions “Edit proxy” and “Delete proxy”.
The “Edit proxy” action opens the “Edit proxy” modal window, where you can change the proxy type, host, port, login, password, “Change IP URL”, and “Remark”. The same window contains the “Check proxy” button for checking the record after editing its parameters.
The “Delete proxy” action opens the “Delete proxies” modal window. To confirm deletion, enter “delete” in the corresponding field, after which the “Confirm” button becomes available.
Deleting a proxy is irreversible. Before confirming, make sure the selected record is no longer used in active accounts.
Columns “Status” and “Type”#
Column “Status” shows the current proxy state after checking. The table may display the statuses “active” or “inactive”. The “active” status means that the proxy confirmed operability during the check, while “inactive” means that the proxy failed the check or requires additional control.
Column “Type” shows the proxy type as a label: “http”, “https”, or “socks5”. The type determines the proxy protocol used for the connection. If “UDP” mode is used for a proxy, the “Type” column must specify “socks5”.
If a proxy has the “inactive” status, check its parameters, server availability, port, login, password, proxy type, and support for the required connection mode — “TCP” or “UDP”.
Column “Remark”#
Column “Remark” is used for a service comment for the proxy. This field can store internal notes that help identify the purpose of the record, the proxy source, or specific usage details.
The remark is edited through the “Edit proxy” modal window. After saving changes, the updated value is displayed directly in the table.
Columns “Outgoing IP address” and “Country”#
Column “Outgoing IP address” shows the IP address that Afina detected during proxy checking. This value helps verify that the proxy actually routes the connection through the expected address.
Column “Country” shows the geographic location of the outgoing IP address. The table may display a country flag and the country name or abbreviation.
If the proxy has not been checked or the check did not return a result, these columns may display an empty value or a service dash.
Column “Profiles count”#
Column “Profiles count” shows how many profiles or accounts are linked to a specific proxy. This helps quickly assess the load on the record and find proxies that are used most often or not used at all.
The column supports sorting. It can be used to find proxies with the highest number of bindings or to identify free records.
Column “Account names”#
Column “Account names” shows accounts linked to a specific proxy. Values are displayed as badges with account names. If the list does not fit fully within the row, the table shows part of the badges and an additional indicator for hidden elements.
This column provides access to binding management. After opening it, the “Assign accounts to proxies” modal window appears, where accounts for the current proxy can be selected through the “Accounts” list. The list includes the “Search...” field, the “Select all” option, scrolling, and checkboxes for individual accounts.
After selecting accounts, click “Save” to update the binding. To exit without changes, click “Cancel” or close the modal window.
The “Account names” column shows the current proxy-to-account bindings. Binding changes are performed through the “Assign accounts to proxies” modal window.
Column “Updated at”#
Column “Updated at” shows the date of the last proxy data update. If the record does not yet have an updated value or the information is missing, the column may display a dash.
The column supports sorting and helps quickly find records that have not been updated for a long time or require another check.
Column “URL for IP change”#
Column “URL for IP change” contains the address for changing the IP if this feature is supported by the proxy provider and was specified in the record parameters. If the URL is not specified, the column displays an empty value or a dash.
The value of this field is edited in the “Edit proxy” modal window through the “Change IP URL” field.
Statuses and Confirmations#
The “Proxies” Table uses statuses that help quickly evaluate proxy suitability for work and safely perform critical actions.
Main statuses:
- “active” — the proxy passed the check and is available for work
- “inactive” — the proxy did not confirm operability or requires an additional check
- “UDP” — the proxy supports UDP
- dash in a column — the value is missing or has not yet been determined
- inactive “Confirm” button in the deletion window — the action is unavailable until “delete” is entered
Proxies with the “inactive” status should not be used to launch accounts without another check or parameter update.
Workflow Scenario#
