Top Panel#
The Top Panel is essential for quickly managing the page without navigating to other sections. It includes actions like Refresh, Open IMAP Logs, and YouTube, which help refresh data, open technical logs, and access video tutorials.
Clicking Refresh reloads the list of accesses and shows the last update time. Clicking Open IMAP Logs opens the log file in an external viewer, while clicking YouTube opens the related video tutorial.
Add Button#
The Add button is used to create a new IMAP access. It opens the modal window "Add Mail Access" where connection parameters are filled, proxies are configured, and data correctness is verified.
To connect to most mail services, a special app password is required instead of the regular account password. Official instructions for creating them: Gmail | iCloud
How to add access:
- Click Add.
- Fill in the basic fields: Email, Password using the app-specific password, IMAP Server, and Port.
- If needed, configure the connection through a proxy: select Proxy Type (HTTP, SOCKS5, or HTTPS), specify Host, Port, Login, and Password. Test the proxy by clicking the communication icon next to the port field.
- Click Check Connection to test the IMAP connection.
- Click Download Folders from Server and select the necessary directories.
- Turn on the Enable switch if the access should be active immediately.
- Click Save.
After successfully saving, the new access appears in the table, and a success message is displayed on the page. If you close the window using the Cancel button or the close icon, the changes will not be saved.
The Save button is disabled until all mandatory fields are filled and folders are selected if folder selection is mandatory in the current form state. If no folders are selected, a tooltip "Folders are mandatory" is displayed.
Search Field#
The Search field is used for quickly filtering accesses in the table. It helps find a record by a partial address or other visible value in the row.
As you type a query, the table updates automatically to show only relevant records. If there are no matches, the "No data" status is displayed, and clicking the close icon in the field clears the query and shows the full list.
Access Table#
The Access Table displays all saved IMAP records in one list. It shows data about mail, server, port, activity, last update time, and other related values.
Sorting is available in the headers of individual columns, allowing you to arrange the list by the desired criterion. The table also supports selecting multiple rows for bulk actions and shows the "No data" status if there are no records.
Folder Column#
The Folders column is for viewing the list of folders associated with a specific IMAP access. An icon of the folder is displayed in the row, and hovering over or opening the tooltip reveals the list of available folders.
This element helps quickly check which folders have been downloaded from the server for a specific record. The list may include folders like Inbox, Spam, Trash, and other folders returned by the server.
Active Switch#
The Active switch controls the mail retrieval status for a specific access. Using it opens the confirmation modal "Change Mail Access Status" to prevent accidental changes.
After confirmation, the status is applied, and the value in the "Updated" column is refreshed. A successful action is accompanied by the message "Mail retrieval status changed successfully".
Edit Icon#
The Edit icon opens the modal window "Edit Mail Access". The current record values are pre-filled, allowing you to change parameters without recreating the access.
The form includes fields for Email, Password, IMAP Server, and Port, as well as actions for testing the connection and downloading folders from the server. After saving, the changes are applied to the selected record, and the list of folders is updated in the "Folders" column.
Delete Icon#
The trash icon initiates the deletion of a single mail access record. For mass deletion, you can first select multiple rows, after which the Delete button with a record counter and a lower indicator of selected records appears.
After confirming the action, a deletion confirmation window opens irreversibly. Upon successful deletion, a success message appears, and if the table is empty, the "No data" status is displayed.
