Modules: “Folders” Top Panel#
The top panel of the “Modules” section is a set of management tools located at the top of the page. It allows switching display modes, exporting and importing modules, managing tags and folders, and deleting selected items. The panel provides a complete module workflow without switching to other sections.
Location: the section is available through the left navigation panel, item “Modules”.
Available actions:
- switch the display between table and folder modes
- export selected modules to a PC or Google Drive
- import modules from a PC or Google Drive
- assign tags to selected modules
- pin selected modules to a folder
- delete selected modules
Button “Folders”#
Button “Folders” is used to switch between table and card display modes for modules. In table mode, modules are displayed as rows with attribute columns. In folder mode, modules are displayed as cards with checkboxes and tags, grouped by folders.
Click “Folders” in the top panel to switch to the card view. Module cards will appear with checkboxes and tags, which makes it convenient to select multiple items for further actions.
Button “Export”#
Button “Export” is used to save selected modules to a local device or to Google Drive. Before using it, one or more modules must be selected.
How to export modules locally:
- Select one or more modules using checkboxes.
- Click “Export” in the top panel.
- Select “Export”.
- In the system window, specify the save folder and confirm.
After completion, the module will be saved on your device as a ZIP archive.
How to export modules to Google Drive:
- Select one or more modules using checkboxes.
- Click “Export” in the top panel.
- Select “Export to Google Drive”.
After completion, a green notification about successful export will appear.
Before clicking the export button, make sure that at least one module is selected. Without selection, the action will not be performed.
Button “Import”#
Button “Import” is used to upload modules to Afina from a local device or from Google Drive. After clicking it, a menu with two import options opens.
How to import modules from a local device:
- Click “Import” in the top panel.
- Select “Import”.
- In the file selection window, specify the module ZIP archive and confirm opening.
- Wait until Afina finishes processing the file in the background.
After a successful import, a green notification about the successful operation will appear.
How to import modules from Google Drive:
- Click “Import” in the top panel.
- Select “Import from Google Drive”.
- In the import window, select the required files and click “Import”.
After completion, a green confirmation of successful import will appear.
Afina processes the imported archive in the background. Do not close the section until the completion notification appears.
Additional Actions Menu#
Additional Actions Menu opens through the three-dot icon in the top panel and contains commands for group operations with selected modules: setting tags, pinning modules to a folder, and deletion.
How to open the menu and perform an action:
- Select one or more modules using checkboxes.
- Click the additional actions menu icon in the top panel.
- Select the required command: “Set tags for selected modules”, “Pin selected modules to folder”, or deletion.
After selecting a command, the corresponding confirmation or action configuration window opens.
Commands in the menu apply only to previously selected modules. If no module is selected, the actions are unavailable.
Window “Assign Tags to Modules”#
Window “Assign Tags to Modules” is used for bulk management of tags for selected modules. It opens after selecting the corresponding command in the additional actions menu.
How to assign tags:
- Open the additional actions menu and select “Set tags for selected modules”.
- In the window, select an action: “Add” or “Replace”.
- In the “Tags” field, enter a tag name or select one from the existing list.
- Repeat the action to add multiple tags.
- Click “Assign”.
After confirmation, the tags are applied to all selected modules, and the window closes.
Window “Assign Folder to Modules”#
Window “Assign Folder to Modules” is intended for organizing modules by pinning them to a specific folder.
How to pin modules to a folder:
- Open the additional actions menu and select “Pin selected modules to folder”.
- In the window, open the “Folder” list and select the required folder.
- Click “Assign”.
After confirmation, a successful pinning notification appears, and the modules are displayed in the selected directory.
Google Drive Import Window#
The window allows selecting one or more module files saved on Google Drive and uploading them to Afina.
How to import modules:
- Click “Import” and select “Import from Google Drive”.
- In the window, select the checkboxes next to the required files.
- Click “Import”.
To work with Google Drive, your account must be connected in the application settings.
Modules Deletion Window#
This window shows the number of modules that will be deleted and requests confirmation before performing an irreversible operation.
How to delete selected modules:
- Select one or more modules using checkboxes.
- Open the additional actions menu and select deletion.
- In the window, check the number of modules.
- Click “Confirm”.
Deleting modules is an irreversible action. Check the list of selected modules before final confirmation.
Refresh Button#
Refresh Button is used to reload the current module list and get the current state from the database. It is located in the top panel next to other control elements.
Click the refresh icon to synchronize the display with the current state of modules in the system. This is useful after importing, deleting, or changing tags when the list needs to be updated.
Workflow Scenario#
Step 1: Open the section
Go to the “Modules” section through the left navigation panel. The page opens in table mode.
Step 2: Switch to folders
Click “Folders” in the top panel to switch to the card view. Module cards will be displayed with checkboxes and tags.
Step 3: Select modules
Select the checkboxes next to the required module cards for further group actions.
Step 4: Export or import
Click “Export” and select “Export” to save modules locally, or “Export to Google Drive” to save them to Google Drive. To upload modules, click “Import” and select the required source.
Step 5: Assign tags and a folder
Open the additional actions menu and select “Set tags for selected modules”. Specify tags and click “Assign”. Then select “Pin selected modules to folder”, specify the directory, and confirm.
Step 6: Delete or refresh
If necessary, open the additional actions menu and delete the selected modules. After completion, click the refresh icon to synchronize the list.
