Google Drive#

Google Drive is a section in Afina settings for connecting cloud storage, managing synchronization, and backups. It allows storing profile data (cookies, tabs) in the cloud so you can work with one farm on different devices without losing progress.

Location: Access the section through the bottom left corner of the interface, under Google Drive.

Available actions:

  • Select a cloud provider (Google Drive or Afina Cloud).
  • Authorize in your Google account.
  • Configure automatic upload and download of account data.

Provider Selection#

The Cloud Provider allows you to choose where Afina will store your encrypted data for synchronization:

  • Google Drive — an individual solution. Data is stored on your personal drive, providing full control over files but requiring authorization through a Google account.
  • Afina Cloud — a team solution. Storage from developers optimized for collaboration. The best choice for teams needing instant profile transfer among members without third-party services.

Choose Google Drive for solo work via personal email or Afina Cloud for teamwork to streamline account sharing among colleagues.

Connect Button#

The "Connect to Google Drive" button initiates the process of linking Afina with your Google account. After clicking, the standard browser authorization window will open.

Once access is granted, a green block confirming successful authorization and your email will appear in the window. This indicates that the cloud is ready for operation.

Automatic Upload#

The "Automatic Upload Account Files" checkbox is responsible for saving data after closing the browser. Once you finish work in the profile, Afina automatically encrypts cookies and files, sending them to the cloud.

This ensures that the latest version of your session is always available for the next launch, even on a different computer.

Automatic Download#

The "Automatic Download Account Files" checkbox prompts the system to check for fresh data in the cloud before each profile launch. If there is a newer version of files in the cloud, Afina will download it locally.

This feature is crucial for teamwork, providing automatic checking and downloading of updates from the cloud so every team member has access to the latest profile iteration.

Backup Settings#

The "Automatic Backup Settings" checkbox allows syncing your entire Afina working configuration with the cloud. This ensures that when switching to a new device, you'll have a fully configured environment in minutes — simply connect your drive.

What is copied:

  • Core program settings.
  • Account groups and tags you've created.
  • Browser extensions.
  • Global variables and proxy lists.

This is the fastest way to deploy your working environment on a new device: just connect Google Drive, and Afina will automatically fetch all your groups, extensions, and settings.

Any changes in settings are instantly synchronized with the cloud in the background, ensuring your backups are always up to date.

Save Changes Button#

The "Save Changes" button activates all selected synchronization settings. Until you press it, new checkboxes won't take effect.

After saving, Afina will start working with the cloud in the background according to the chosen logic (upload/download).

All data in the cloud is stored in encrypted form. You have access to it only through your local encryption key.
