Bottom Navigation Bar#

Bottom Control Panel is a fixed panel in the bottom left corner of the Afina interface that contains tools for working with application settings. It provides quick access to exporting and importing settings via Google Drive or the local file system, as well as protecting the window from screen capture.

Location: access to the panel is available through the bottom left corner of the main "Afina" application window.

Available actions:

  • export application settings to Google Drive
  • import application settings from Google Drive
  • export settings to a local folder
  • import settings from a local file
  • enable or disable window capture protection


Icon “Export settings to Google Drive”#

The Icon “Export settings to Google Drive” is shown with the tooltip “Export settings to Google Drive (main settings, integration keys, groups, and extensions)” and is used to quickly upload current application settings to cloud storage. After clicking, the export is performed in the background without opening additional windows.

Upon completion, a green notification appears at the top of the screen, confirming the successful upload of settings to Google Drive. The backup includes main settings, integration keys, groups, and extensions.


Icon “Import settings from Google Drive”#

The Icon “Import settings from Google Drive” is shown with the tooltip “Import settings from Google Drive (main settings, integration keys, groups and extensions)” and initiates downloading settings from Google Drive storage to the application. After clicking, a modal window opens for selecting the necessary files.

The window provides access to a list of settings files saved in Google Drive, with search, selection of one or multiple files, and initiation of the import process.


The Modal window “Import Settings from Google Drive” is designed for viewing, selecting, and importing settings files from Google Drive storage. It contains a table of files with checkboxes, a search field, and control buttons.

How to import settings from Google Drive:

  1. Click the Import settings from Google Drive icon on the bottom panel.
  2. In the “Import Settings from Google Drive” window, use the Search... field to filter the list of files by name.
  3. Select the necessary files with checkboxes or click Select all for mass selection.
  4. To clear the selection, click Clear selection.
  5. To delete selected files from Google Drive, click Delete and confirm the action in the dialog window.
  6. To import selected files, click Import.

After successful import, a green notification appears, confirming that the settings have been imported. The “Delete” and “Import” buttons become active only after at least one file is selected.

The files table contains the “Name” and “Modified At” columns. Navigation between list pages is performed through pagination elements at the bottom of the window.


Icon “Export settings” (local)#

The Icon “Export settings” (local) is shown with the tooltip “Export settings (main settings, integration keys, groups, and extensions)” and is used to save application settings to the Windows file system. After clicking, a system window opens for selecting a folder.

How to perform local settings export:

  1. Click the Export settings icon on the bottom panel.
  2. In the system window “Select folder to export global settings”, navigate to the required folder using the navigation panel.
  3. Click Select Folder to confirm.

After confirmation, the settings are saved to the selected folder. If you click “Cancel”, the system window closes without performing the export.


Icon “Import settings” (local)#

The Icon “Import settings” (local) is shown with the tooltip “Import settings (main settings, integration keys, groups, and extensions)” and is used to restore application settings from a local archive or file. After clicking, a system window opens for selecting a file.

How to perform local settings import:

  1. Click the Import settings icon on the bottom panel.
  2. In the system window “Select account archives to restore”, navigate to the folder with the settings file.
  3. Select a file in the supported format ZIP Archives (.json;.enc).
  4. Click Open to confirm.

After confirmation, the file is transferred to the application, and a green notification about successful import appears. If you click “Cancel”, the system window closes without performing the import.


Icon “Enable screen capture protection”#

The Icon “Enable screen capture protection” enables a mode that makes it harder or blocks capturing the application window content using screen recording and remote viewing tools. After clicking, a confirmation modal window opens.

Enabling protection may affect taking screenshots and streaming. Make sure this does not interfere with your workflow before confirming.


The Modal window “Enable Screen Recording Protection?” is used to explicitly confirm activation of application window protection from recording and remote viewing. It contains a description of the consequences of enabling the mode and two control buttons.

How to enable screen capture protection:

  1. Click the Enable screen capture protection icon on the bottom panel.
  2. Review the description in the “Enable Screen Recording Protection?” window.
  3. Click Confirm to activate protection.

Afina will attempt to block screen recording and remote viewing of this window. In most programs such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Zoom, OBS, and similar tools, the window may appear as a black screen or may not be transmitted at all. This may also affect taking screenshots and streaming.
