Scripts: Top Panel#

Scripts top control panel is a quick access area at the top of the “Scripts” section, containing display mode switches, tools for exporting and importing scripts, a bulk actions menu, and a refresh button. It allows managing scripts as individual objects: changing the list view, transferring scripts between devices or cloud storage, assigning tags, pinning scripts to folders, and deleting selected records.

Location: access is available through the left navigation panel in the “Automation” section, under “Scripts”.

Available actions:

  • switch the display between table and folder modes
  • export selected scripts to the PC or Google Drive
  • import scripts from the PC or Google Drive
  • set tags for selected scripts through the additional actions menu
  • pin selected scripts to folder through the additional actions menu
  • force refresh the script list


Display Mode Switches#

Display Mode Switches are used to choose a convenient way to view scripts in the section. Two buttons are located at the top of the page: Table and Folders.

The “Table” mode displays scripts as rows with attributes, while the “Folders” mode groups them by folders for hierarchical navigation. After clicking the corresponding button, the list is immediately rebuilt in the selected format.


Button “Export”#

Button “Export” is used to export selected scripts as an archive file for backup or transfer to another device or another user.

How to export scripts:

  1. Select one or more scripts in the table using checkboxes.
  2. Click Export.
  3. To save to the PC, select Export, specify the destination folder, and confirm.
  4. To save to the cloud, select Export to Google Drive and confirm the action.

After completion, the scripts are saved in the selected location as an archive.

Before clicking Export, make sure scripts are selected in the table. If no script is selected, the export will not run.


Button “Import”#

Button “Import” is used to import scripts directly to Afina from a local device or Google Drive.

How to import scripts:

  1. Click Import.
  2. To upload from the PC, select Import, specify the archive file, and confirm.
  3. To upload from the cloud, select Import from Google Drive, wait for the list to load, select the required script, and click Import.

After completion, the imported script appears in the scripts table.


Additional Actions Menu#

Additional Actions Menu is a three-dot button that opens a list of bulk operations for selected scripts. Through this menu, tags can be set and scripts can be pinned to folders.

How to perform a bulk action:

  1. Select one or more scripts in the table using checkboxes.
  2. Click Additional Actions Menu (three dots).
  3. To set tags, select Set tags for selected scripts, add or remove tags in the “Assign Tags to Scripts” window, and click Assign.
  4. To pin to a folder, select Pin selected scripts to folder, select a folder in the “Assign Folder to Scripts” window, and click Assign to folder.

After the action is completed, the script list is updated according to the applied changes.

The Delete selected scripts action moves scripts to the trash. Make sure that exactly the scripts intended for deletion are selected.


Icon “Refresh”#

Icon “Refresh” performs a forced reload of the script list and synchronizes the interface state with the current database data.


Workflow Scenario#

Step 1: Open “Scripts”

Go to the “Automation” section in the left navigation panel and select “Scripts”.

Step 2: Choose a display mode

Click Table or Folders in the top panel to choose a convenient format for viewing scripts.

Step 3: Select scripts

Select one or more scripts with checkboxes in the table for further bulk actions.

Step 4: Export or import

Click Export to save selected scripts to the PC or Google Drive. Click Import to upload scripts from the PC or Google Drive.

Step 5: Perform a bulk action

Click Additional Actions Menu (three dots) and select Set tags for selected scripts or Pin selected scripts to folder.

Step 6: Refresh the list

Click the Refresh icon to synchronize the table with the current data.
