Integration Keys#

The Table "Integration Keys" is used to store and manage keys, tokens, passwords, and other values that can be used in integrations, scripts, or automation. In the table, records can be created, edited, deleted individually or in bulk, refreshed, searched, and sorted by columns.

Location: the "Integration Keys" section is available through the left navigation panel in the "Settings" group.

Available actions:

  • add a new key and its value
  • edit the name or value of an existing key
  • delete a single record via the delete icon in the row
  • delete multiple selected records via the top panel
  • refresh the table after changes
  • search for keys through the "Search..." field
  • sort the table by the "Name" and "Value" columns

Button "+ Add"#

Button "+ Add" opens the modal window "Create key/value". This window is used to create a new record by specifying its name and value.

The button is used when a new integration key, token, or other service value needs to be added for further use in Afina.

Modal window "Create key/value" is used to add a new record to the table. The window contains the fields "Name" and "Value", as well as the buttons "Cancel" and Save.

After filling in the fields, click Save. If the record is created successfully, Afina adds it to the table and shows a success message.

The fields "Name" and "Value" must be filled in. If the required data is not specified, the record will not be saved.

Keys table#

Keys table displays all saved records as rows. The table contains the columns "Name" and "Value", checkboxes for selecting rows, and action icons on the right side of each row.

The "Name" column shows the key name. The "Value" column displays the value in masked form to hide sensitive data from accidental viewing.

Key values in the table are masked with hiding characters. The open value can be viewed or changed through the editing window.

Field "Search..." is used to quickly search records in the table. After a query is entered, Afina filters the list and shows only the keys that match the entered value.

To return to the full list, clear the search field with the clear icon or delete the entered text manually.

Icon "Edit"#

Icon "Edit" is located on the right side of each table row and opens the modal window "Edit key/value" for the selected record.

This action is used when the key name or its value needs to be changed without creating a new record.

Modal window "Edit key/value" is used to update an existing record. The window displays the fields "Name" and "Value", which can be changed before saving.

After making changes, click Save. If the update is completed successfully, Afina applies the changes to the corresponding table row and shows a success message.

Icon "Delete"#

Icon "Delete" is located on the right side of the row and starts the deletion of a single key. After clicking it, the modal window "Delete key/value" opens with action confirmation.

The window displays the confirmation text "Are you sure you want to delete 1 key/value(s)?". To complete the deletion, click Confirm. To keep the record in the table, click "Cancel" or close the window.

Deleting a key is an irreversible action. After confirmation, the record will be removed from the table.

Bulk deletion#

Bulk deletion is used to delete several records at once. First, select the required rows with checkboxes in the table, then use the delete icon in the top panel.

After the action starts, the modal window "Delete key/value" opens and shows the number of selected records. Click Confirm to delete the selected keys, or "Cancel" to close the window without changes.

Icon "Refresh"#

Icon "Refresh" reloads the list of keys in the table. It is used after creating, editing, or deleting records when the displayed data needs to be refreshed manually.

After clicking the icon, Afina refreshes the table and shows the current state of saved keys.
