Restore from backup#

Restore from backup helps to revert to a previously saved version of the account from the backup history. This scenario is used when it is necessary to roll back the account to one of the available backups and continue working with the restored data.

Location: access to the feature is available through the account row in the "Accounts" section, the "Restore from backup" item in the actions menu.

Available actions:

  • open the list of available backups for the account
  • select the desired backup version
  • confirm the restoration in the confirmation window
  • start the account restoration process


Account actions menu#

The Account actions menu is necessary to initiate the restoration operation without switching to other sections. Through it, the "Restore from backup" command is opened, leading to the list of available backup versions for the selected account.

After selecting this command, a window with the list of backups opens. Next, you can proceed to choose the necessary version for restoration.


"Profile backups" window#

The "Profile backups" window displays available versions of backups for the current account. You need to select one of the recent versions in it to return to a working state.

After choosing a backup, the next confirmation window opens. This allows you to verify the selection before starting the restoration.


Restoration confirmation#

Restoration confirmation completes the scenario and initiates the process of returning the account from the selected backup. In this window, press Confirm to start the restoration.

After confirmation, Afina begins to restore the account from the selected version. Then, wait for the operation to complete and verify the result.

Restoration changes the current state of the account. Before confirming, make sure you have selected the correct backup.


Workflow Scenario#

Step 1: Open the menu

In the account row, open the Actions menu.

Step 2: Launch the list

Select Restore from backup to view available versions.

Step 3: Choose a version

In the Profile backups window, select the desired backup.

Step 4: Confirm the action

Press Confirm to start the account restoration.
