Triggers: Folders Action Panel#

The Triggers Folders Action Panel is the top control bar of the "Triggers" section that appears after switching to the "Folders" view. It allows you to create folders to organize triggers, edit their names and colors, delete unnecessary folders, and build a nested hierarchy of subfolders.

Location: The section is located on the left navigation panel under the "Triggers" item; the action panel is displayed at the top after switching to the "Folders" view.

Available actions:

  • search for folders by name using the search field
  • create new top-level folders
  • edit the name and parent folder of an existing folder
  • change the folder color
  • delete a folder
  • create subfolders within existing folders
  • build a multi-level hierarchy of nested folders

Search field#

The Search field is used to quickly find a specific folder by its name. It is located in the top panel and is available in the folder view mode.

Enter a name or part of it — the folder list is immediately filtered according to the entered text. To reset the filter, clear the search field.

"Add folder" button#

The "Add folder" button is intended for creating a new top-level folder or a subfolder within an open folder. It is located at the top of the action panel in folder view.

How to create a folder:

  1. Click Add folder.
  2. In the "Create folder" window, enter the name in the "Name" field.
  3. If necessary, open the list and select a parent folder.
  4. Click Save.

"Create folder" window#

The "Create folder" window opens after clicking the Add folder button. It contains a "Name" field for entering the folder's name and a "Parent folder" list to choose its location in the hierarchy.

The "Parent folder" list displays all existing folders, as well as a "No folder" option for creating a top-level folder. After clicking Save, the window closes, and the new folder appears in the list.

Folder menu#

The Folder menu is used to perform actions on a specific folder without navigating to other sections. It is opened via the three dots icon next to the folder name and contains the items Edit, Choose color, and Delete folder.

How to open the folder menu:

  1. Hover over the desired folder in the list.
  2. Click the three dots icon next to the folder name.
  3. Select the required action from the menu.

After selecting an action, the corresponding window or color palette opens. The menu closes automatically after an item is selected.

"Edit folder" window#

The "Edit folder" window is designed for updating a folder's name or changing its place in the hierarchy. It opens via the Edit option in the folder menu.

How to edit a folder:

  1. Open the folder menu via the three dots icon.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. In the "Edit folder" window, change the value in the "Name" field.
  4. If necessary, change the value in the "Parent folder" list.
  5. Click Save.

After saving, the folder name updates in the list, and a green message confirms the successful update.

Folder color selection#

Folder color selection allows you to visually distinguish folders in the list using color coding. The palette opens via the Choose color option in the folder menu.

How to change folder color:

  1. Open the folder menu via the three dots icon.
  2. Select Choose color.
  3. Click on the desired color in the palette.

After selecting a color, the folder in the list is displayed with the chosen color marking, and a green message confirms the successful update.

After a successful color update, the message "Folder successfully updated" is displayed.

"Delete folder" window#

The "Delete folder" window opens after selecting the Delete folder option in the folder menu. It asks for confirmation before final deletion.

How to delete a folder:

  1. Open the folder menu via the three dots icon.
  2. Select Delete folder.
  3. In the "Delete folder" window, click Confirm.

After confirmation, the folder disappears from the list.

Subfolders#

Subfolders are used to build a multi-level hierarchy for organizing triggers. To create a subfolder, you need to open the parent folder and use the Add folder button inside it.

How to create a subfolder:

  1. Open the desired folder by clicking on it in the list.
  2. Click Add folder in the top panel.
  3. In the "Create folder" window, enter the subfolder name.
  4. The "Parent folder" field already contains the current folder as the parent.
  5. Click Save.

The new subfolder appears inside the parent folder. To create an even deeper level of nesting, open the newly created subfolder and repeat the process. Upon returning to the main list, the parent folder displays the number of nested folders.

Folder nesting depth is unlimited — you can create subfolders at any level for convenient trigger organization.
