Local Export#

Local Export is designed to save selected accounts to a file on the local computer. After clicking the button, Afina opens a system window to choose a folder where you specify the location to save the archive.

How to perform a local export:

After confirming the folder, Afina creates a backup task and starts the saving process. A green notification message appears confirming the successful task creation. The execution result is displayed in the "Backup Journal" section.

Before clicking Export, make sure to select the necessary accounts in the table. The action will not proceed without selected accounts.

Cloud Storage Formats#

Cloud Storage Formats define where backups and profile data are actually stored. Afina offers two options with different purposes: Google Drive for solo work and Afina Cloud for teamwork.

Google Drive stores all backups and profile data directly on your personal Google Drive. It is a tool for solo work without additional users, automatic backups, and syncing your own devices. Two copies of Afina on different PCs can be linked through Google Drive to transfer data, but the same encryption key file must be loaded and the same master password entered on both devices.

Afina Cloud stores data on Afina servers. It is a team option for quickly sharing accounts between members: the license owner and invited workers. Sharing profiles through Afina Cloud works strictly within a single license — if the applications are registered to different email addresses, these are two different licenses, and transferring accounts to each other through Afina Cloud is not possible.

In both options, all data in the cloud is stored exclusively in encrypted form. Access to it is only possible with your key file and master password.

Choose storage based on your plan. If your plan includes users (workers), use Afina Cloud for team account sharing. If you have no users, use Google Drive for solo work and backups.
