"Launch" Icon#

Overview of the bulk launch icon, launch queue management, and browser initialization process in the Afina app

The "Launch" icon is an element of the top control panel in the "Accounts" section, designed for the bulk launching of the browser for pre-selected accounts. It creates a launch queue and displays its status at the bottom of the workspace, allowing you to track progress and cancel the launch of accounts still waiting in the queue.

Location: Access to the icon is via the top control panel of the "Accounts" section.

Available actions:

  • Launch the browser for one or more selected accounts
  • View the launch queue status at the bottom of the workspace
  • Cancel the launch of accounts still in the queue
  • Receive confirmation of a successful launch or an error message


"Launch" Icon#

The "Launch" icon is used to simultaneously launch the browser for all pre-selected accounts in the table. After clicking, Afina forms a launch queue, and the rows of accounts that have already started change the Start button to Stop.

To launch accounts:

  1. Select one or more accounts in the table using the checkboxes.
  2. Click Launch in the top control panel.

After clicking, Afina begins sequentially opening browser windows for the selected accounts. A queue indicator with the status Remaining in the launch queue... appears at the bottom of the workspace.


Launch Queue#

The Launch queue is displayed at the bottom of the workspace immediately after clicking the launch icon. It shows the number of accounts remaining in the queue.

As each account is successfully launched, the queue counter decreases. When all accounts are launched, the queue disappears, and the table rows reflect an active state with a Stop button.


"Cancel" Button#

The "Cancel" button is available in the launch queue indicator and allows you to stop the further launch of accounts that have not yet started. It does not affect accounts whose browsers are already open.

To cancel the queue:

  1. Locate the queue indicator at the bottom of the workspace.
  2. Click Cancel.

After clicking, the launch of new accounts is stopped. Accounts with browsers already open remain active—their state does not change.

Clicking Cancel does not stop already running accounts. To stop active sessions, use the Stop icon in the top control panel.


Workflow Scenario#

Step 1: Select accounts

In the «Accounts» section table, check the checkboxes next to the required accounts. To select all accounts, use the master checkbox in the table header.

Step 2: Click «Launch»

Click the Launch icon in the top control panel. Afina will form a queue and begin opening browser windows for the selected accounts.

Step 3: Track the queue

A queue indicator with the status Remaining in the launch queue will appear at the bottom of the workspace. Rows for launched accounts will change the Start button to Stop.

Step 4: Cancel if necessary

If you need to stop further launching, click Cancel in the queue indicator. Already launched accounts will remain active.

Step 5: Verify the result

Once the queue is empty, check the status of the accounts in the table. Successfully launched accounts display the Stop button. In case of an error, a red message with a description will appear.
