Mass Cache Clearing of Accounts#

Cache Clearing is a function to completely reset temporary profile data. It deletes downloaded images, files, cookies, and local storage data without deleting the account itself or its settings.

Why is this needed:

  • Freeing up space: Profiles that have been active for years can accumulate gigabytes of "junk" on the disk.
  • Fixing errors: Helps if the site starts displaying incorrectly or loading outdated information.

Location: Access to the section is through "Accounts", where you need to select the necessary accounts.

Available actions:

  • select one or multiple accounts from the list
  • open a menu for the selected accounts
  • initiate cache clearing for the selected accounts
  • confirm the action in the confirmation window


Account Selection#

Account Selection is necessary to apply cache clearing only to the necessary items in the list. Checkboxes are used in the account table for this purpose, after which you can work with one or multiple selected accounts.

After selecting accounts, a group action of cache clearing becomes available. This allows not to affect other records and perform the operation selectively.


Cache Clearing Menu#

Cache Clearing Menu is used to initiate the operation on the selected accounts. After opening the menu, select the action Clear cache for selected accounts.

How to initiate clearing:

  1. Select the necessary accounts from the list.
  2. Open the three dots menu.
  3. Click Clear cache for selected accounts.

This opens the confirmation window. You can review the action before initiating the clearing.


Confirmation Window#

Confirmation Window is necessary to finally start cache clearing. It shows the action that will be performed for the selected accounts.

How to confirm the action:

  1. Verify that the correct accounts are specified.
  2. Review the cache clearing action.
  3. Click Confirm.

After confirmation, Afina starts cache clearing for the selected accounts. This completes the process without additional settings.

Cache clearing only deletes temporary files and images to free up space. This does not affect your cookies, so you will remain logged in to all accounts.

Check the required accounts in the list.

Click the three dots menu for the selected accounts.

Select Clear cache for selected accounts.

In the confirmation window, click Confirm.
