Mass Export of Additional Data#
Download Additional Data to Excel - functionality for mass export of additional data in XLSX format. The downloaded file allows for convenient viewing of saved values, as well as mass editing or adding new data for multiple accounts.
Location: access to the functionality is provided through the "Accounts" section in the additional actions menu represented by three dots on the top control panel.
Available actions:
- view saved keys and values
- download additional data in XLSX file format
- edit existing data using an Excel file
- mass add new keys and values for accounts
How the download works#
After selecting one or more accounts in the table using checkboxes, open the bulk actions menu and click on Download Additional Data (Excel). Afina will generate the file and open a system window where you can specify the folder, change the file name, and confirm the save.
File format and content: The result is a file in XLSX format. Inside, it contains tabular data for selected accounts, including mandatory columns AccountName - account name, and AccountID - unique identifier, as well as all available additional data. To add a new key, simply enter its name in a new column.
States and messages:
- If no account is selected, the download action is unavailable.
- If the action is canceled in the system window, the download is interrupted without saving the file.
- After successfully saving the file, a green floating message appears.
Workflow Scenario#
Step 1: Select Accounts
Check the necessary accounts in the table using checkboxes.
Step 2: Export Data
Open the bulk actions menu and export additional data to an Excel file.
Step 3: Add New Data
Open the file and add the required keys and values to the respective accounts.
Step 4: Upload the File
Upload the edited additional data back into the Afina program.
