Bulk Deletion of Extension Data#
Bulk deletion of extension data is a group editing tool that allows you to bulk clear stored information, such as sessions, settings, and authorizations, of specific browser extensions from one or more accounts. This function deletes only local data — the extensions themselves remain installed in the profiles.
Location: Access is through the "Accounts" section using the additional actions menu "⋮" on the top panel.
Available possibilities:
- Select required accounts using checkboxes
- Open the bulk deletion of extension data window
- View the list of extensions installed in the selected accounts
- Search for a specific extension by its name
- Bulk select extensions to clear their data
- Confirm and bulk delete stored information
Clearing Extension Data#
The function calls a modal window that displays a list of the selected accounts. Below them is a dropdown list containing all browser extensions installed in at least one of these profiles.
You can open the list and mark the checkboxes for the extensions whose data needs to be cleared. If the list is long, use the search bar by entering the name of the desired extension, for example, "MetaMask" or "Rabby", to quickly filter the results.
After you have marked the necessary items, they will appear as tags in the selection field.
All data created and stored by this extension will be permanently deleted from the selected accounts. The extension itself will not be deleted. This action cannot be undone.
After clicking the "Delete" button, the system will automatically clear the data of the selected extensions from all marked accounts.
Workflow Scenario#
Step 1: Select accounts
In the general table, mark the checkboxes for those profiles for which you need to clear extension data.
Step 2: Open the menu
On the top action panel, click the "⋮" icon and select "Delete extension data".
Step 3: Find the extension
In the modal window, open the list of extensions or use the search by name.
Step 4: Mark the items
Mark the checkboxes for one or more extensions whose data needs to be cleared.
Step 5: Confirm deletion
Check your selection and click the "Delete" button to permanently clear the extension information from the selected accounts.
