Mass Export of Cookies#
Mass export of cookies is a tool for saving cookie files of selected accounts into local JSON files. It allows you to quickly obtain session data from multiple profiles for backup or transferring authorization to other accounts.
Location: access to this feature is available on the "Accounts" page after selecting accounts using checkboxes and the additional actions menu (ellipsis icon "⋮") in the top panel.
Available actions:
- selecting necessary accounts using checkboxes
- opening the additional actions menu for selected accounts
- initiating the procedure for mass exporting cookie files
- choosing a directory to save JSON files
- saving the generated files to the device
Select Accounts#
Before exporting, it is necessary to select the accounts whose cookies need to be exported.
In the "Accounts" table, mark the required profiles with checkboxes. You can select one or multiple accounts — for each selected profile, the system will generate a separate JSON file with cookies.
Initiate Export#
After selecting the accounts, open the additional actions menu by clicking the ⋮ icon in the top panel.
From the dropdown list, choose the "Export cookies" command. The system will then start the procedure for mass exporting cookie files for the selected accounts.
Choose Folder#
After initiating the export, a system window for selecting a folder will open.
In this window, specify the directory where the JSON files will be saved and confirm the selection by clicking the "Choose Folder" button.
Create JSON Files#
Upon confirming the folder, the system will automatically generate files with cookies for the selected accounts.
Each account is exported into a separate file with the extension .json. The file contains all the saved information about cookies from the respective profile: domains, cookie names, values, expiration dates, and other session technical parameters.
Using the Files#
The saved JSON files can be used to transfer authorization to websites for other profiles without the need to re-enter logins and passwords.
These files can also be kept as a local backup of active sessions for selected accounts.
The saved JSON files can be used to import cookies into any other Afina profiles or kept as a local backup of sessions.
